Everything on the books for the start of the year, with what each one actually involves. Switch between the list and the calendar, or export the whole thing straight to your own calendar app.
Go meet your teacher and see where the classroom will be. Some parents bring school supplies on this day.
If you don't have everything yet, don't worry. Bring whatever you have at the moment, and your child can bring the rest on Monday the 10th.
Parents normally walk their kids all the way to their classroom on this day. Bring any school supplies you missed on Friday, and take a first day of school photo.
Right after drop-off there's a Parents Gathering for coffee and refreshments, most likely in the Fellowship Hallway (right across from the Sanctuary, the main church auditorium). Don't feel overwhelmed, and try to attend. There's always a friendly face.
Held in your child's classroom. Mostly informative, and a chance to get to know the other class parents along with your teacher.
An activity just for moms and their boys. The school will send more information once they know what this year's activity is. Sign up as soon as you see it, since these fill up.
Worth knowing: there's a Father-Daughter Dance right after Christmas.
These are mandatory for parents. Very informative, especially if this is your first year.
Late start is 9:15am, so plan to be there before then. School opens at 8:45am for students.

Labor Day. No school.
This is the first Chapel of the school year, and it's Dressy Enrichment for the whole school. Check the Perimeter School Dress Code page and make sure you have everything your child needs to match it exactly.
This is the photo that goes in the yearbook. There is a makeup photo day if your child is sick or something comes up.
For Chapel, parents are invited to attend. Kids are seated with their class, and parents are welcome in the back of the Sanctuary or in the balcony.

The Export to .ics button downloads one file containing all of these events. Open it and your calendar app will offer to add them. Works with Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, and Outlook.
Timed events come through at the right time. All-day items like the first day of school, picture day, and Labor Day come through as all-day entries.
Picture Day is Dressy Enrichment for the whole school and it is the yearbook photo, so it is the one to get exactly right. Late start days are the opposite: dress down, regular clothes within the modesty code. Both are spelled out on the Perimeter School Dress Code page.
