Before Day One

Supplies & Uniforms

Everything you need to buy, where to buy it, and the handful of items where the brand actually matters. The list below is a working checklist, so tick things off as you go, and it'll remember where you were.

The shortcut: buy the prepackaged kit

The school offers prepackaged supply kits, which is the least painful way to do this. Order at educationalproducts.com/ShopPacks using code PER014.

The kit does not cover everything

Even if you buy it, there's a second list of items you still have to get yourself: the backpack, the P.E. bag, the recorder, the Bible, and a few others. They're in their own section below, marked Buy separately. Don't order the kit and assume you're done.

Uniforms: where to actually shop

You don't have to buy everything from the official supplier.

Label the uniform pieces, not just the supplies

Sweatshirts, fleece jackets, blazers, and sweaters especially. These are the things that come off at recess and never come home again.

New to Perimeter? Some of this is provided

New students get a nature study book, watercolor paints, and an ESV Following Jesus Bible provided in their classrooms. You'll be asked to replace those items as needed through the Perimeter Bookstore, but you don't need to buy them up front.

Two things the list says twice, so we will too

Parent of the Month

When your turn comes around, you may be asked to contribute a few extra items for the classroom. Nothing to prepare for now, just so it isn't a surprise later.
