Dropoff & Pickup
Two ways to do this, and most families end up alternating. Here's how each one works and where to actually stand.
Option 1: Carline
The main carline runs along the front of the building, off the big lot. You stay in your car and they bring your kid out.
You need the white placard with your family name on it. Hanging it from your rearview mirror is the move. They read it from a distance and announce the name ahead of time, so your child is already walking out when you pull up. Sitting it on the dash works but slows the whole line down.
Option 2: Pick them up yourself
Park and walk up. Pickup happens at the Atrium, marked on the map above.
They ask that you wait outside the Atrium rather than coming in and waiting in the lobby. It's a small thing but it's the one people get gently corrected on in their first week.
When it rains
Rain days shift dropoff to two covered points:
- Rain Dropoff 1: The Bricks, on the south/lower side of the building.
- Rain Dropoff 2: Elementary Side, on the north side near the main carline.
This is the one that catches every new family: there are no proactive alerts when rain dropoff goes into effect. No text, no push notification. You're expected to look outside and make the call yourself. When in doubt on a wet morning, head for a rain dropoff point.
The rule of thumb
However you drop them off is how you pick them up. Pick a lane and stay in it. The day you do carline in the morning and self-pickup in the afternoon is the day something gets confused.
